Doctor of Chiropractor BSc (UNSW) M. Chiro Member CAA
Athina is the founder and director of Macarthur Natural Health Clinic, which she has established over the past 20 years as a successful, caring practitioner.
Her Bachelor of Science Degree from New South Wales University includes an Anatomy major. She also completed
5 years’ study in Chiropractic, including a 2 year Masters’ Degree from Macquarie University. Athina has completed further studies in Musculoskeletal Acupuncture, Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), Activator Technique and is proficient in manual adjusting techniques including Diversified.
Athina grew up in the Macarthur region, and feels a deep sense of commitment towards its community, through aiding healing and maintenance of health.
Athina has been thrilled to have Macarthur Natural Clinic develop, particularly through word of mouth referrals, and has seen a rapidly expanding waiting list of potential clients. Motivation to attend has been sparked by patients who started seeing personal health improvements, began understanding imbalances in their lives and how to correct them, and wished to share their positive experiences at the Clinic with family and friends.
Chiropractor BSc Chiro (Macq) M.Chiro ART Provider
Julianne has been a member of the team since 2010. Graduating from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Chiropractic science and a Masters’ of Chiropractic, she has a great interest in family health and well-being. Julianne has also studied Dry Needling, Active Release Technique (ART), SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) and is proficient in manual adjusting techniques including Diversified.
Her love of cooking, travelling, and exercise give her added insights in her practice.

Brian completed a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of New South Wales in 2005, majoring in Anatomy, prior to completing Chiropractic studies. Brian has also spent time studying many other techniques supporting a wide range of treatment options. He is proficient in ART; a highly effective, soft tissue, diagnostic and treatment technique; assisting problems from headaches to sporting injuries and sciatica.
His other studies include Acupuncture, SOT, SFMA, Activator and Terminal Point Technique, as low force treatment options. He is also proficient in manual adjusting techniques, such as Diversified, thus catering for the needs of many kinds of patients.
Brian has also worked extensively with Liverpool’s KMA Top Team, helping these excellent martial arts athletes to quickly overcome injuries to achieve their best.
Jin Woong Kim
Chiropractor BSc (Health & Ex.Sc) M.Chiro
Jin completed his Bachelor of Science (Health & Exercise Science) degree at the University of New South Wales. Subsequently, he gained his Masters of Chiropractic in 2013. Jin has also studied Dry Needling, ART, Activator Technique and is proficient in manual adjusting techniques including Diversified.
Jin’s main focus is to assist patients at risk of developing or currently coping with existing injuries requiring rehabilitation to improve physical function.

Dr. Jake Peirce is an active energetic chiropractor joining the team at Macarthur Natural Health Clinic.
Jake graduated from the prestigious Macquarie University in Sydney and looks to provide his local community with the best available care. It was after suffering multiple injuries in high school, he directed his passion to help those suffering from neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. He has experience treating athletes in various sports and at all levels of competition. This includes rugby league school championships, super Sikhs cup and on a more regular basis the university rugby and AFL teams.
As a Chiropractor he focuses on the relationship between structure and function and how it affects the preservation of health. He understands that its more than just making the pain disappear, it's about learning, understanding and taking care of your body to improve your quality of life. Restoring and maintaining proper spinal health through specific chiropractic adjustments, exercise rehabilitation, nutrition and postural advice achieve this.
His integrated approach to treatment includes the co-management of patient's new and existing disorders with other healthcare professionals including General Practitioners, Exercise Physiologists, Massage therapists and Herbalists. This is to ensure the best treatment is made available to each to they can reach their optimum health.
In addition, he strives to understand and utilize the most evidence-based approach to manual therapy. This comes from a strong passion to look for new and better ways to treat his patients. He is able to utilize a multitude of techniques and experience that suits the treatment requirements of the individual patient. He is looking forward to discussing your treatment options in a caring and confidential environment. It should be emphasized that he sees patients of all ages, including pediatrics through to geriatrics.
Jake is available for appointments on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays.
Exercise Physiologist BSc (Health & Ex.Sc)
Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Joel graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Exercise Science at the University of Western Sydney. Prior to joining Macarthur Natural Health Clinic, he worked with the Australian Defence Force, gaining extensive experience through working on a number of public and private health initiatives.
Joel has particular interest in pain management strategies, using exercise as a medium for change. He has broad experience in teaching manual handling techniques and building efficiency in movement. He maintains a holistic view of health and well-being, and is passionate about empowering others to achieve this.
In his spare time, Joel keeps fit through training in Martial Arts. A keen fisherman, he enjoys the outdoors; and playing guitar and the didgeridoo.
Sue has been passionate about Herbal Medicine for over 30 years, having gained an Advanced Diploma from the Dorothy Hall College of Herbal Medicine in 2005.
While Herbal Medicine is considered an alternative to conventional medicine, Sue encourages clients to continue to seek the advice of their family GP.
Sue sources her medicines from a highly reputable, family-operated company who have been herbalists for six generations. Their manufacturing plant is strictly regulated and audited by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration.
She has lived in the wider Macarthur area for five years with her four children, who have mainly been raised on naturopathic principles.
Certified Lymphoedema Practioner
Hailin (Hai Lin) is an Australasian Lymphology Association accredited Lymphedema Therapist in Australasia, with over ten years’ experience, specialising in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD). She is happy to work in conjunction with conventional medical practitioners to benefit patients.
Hailin is also a certified Dr Vodder therapist, a method internationally recognised for treating Lymphedema and Venous Insufficiency Oedema. As an integral part of treatments, Hailin uses Low Level LASER (LTU-904) - effectively accelerating Lymph flow, and aiding the tissue healing phase of scar, muscle, ligament and tendon damage.
Hailin’s particular areas of expertise are Prevention and Management of Lymphedema, Management of Post-Surgery/ Cosmetic Surgery Seroma & Wound Healing/ Tissues Repair and Scar Treatment to increase cell activity.

Katherine 'Kate' Willis
Remedial Massage Therapist
Kate completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies in 2004.
With 12 years’ experience in the Macarthur region, Kate provides a range of treatments from soft tissue work to trigger point therapy and remedial massage. She is also interested in traditional Chinese Cupping Methods.
Kate loves spending time with family and is involved in a range of outdoor activities.
Remedial Massage Therapist
Always aspiring to be a massage therapist, Dimity completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies in 2011.
Dimity has a passion for helping patients achieve results through the art of massage therapy, using a strong, controlled technique, which is very popular with our clients.
Remedial Massage Therapist
Emma completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage at TAFE NSW in 2009.
An experienced therapist with extensive knowledge, including the use of traditional methods and Chinese Cupping, Emma is thus able to treat a wide variety of conditions. She is passionate about providing the best possible care for all our clients.
Remedial Massage Therapist
Leanne completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy at TAFE NSW in 2014. In 2016, she added to her qualifications with Neurostructural Integration Technique or “Bowen Therapy.”
Leanne is passionate about helping patients gain a better quality of life through the process of soft tissue work, trigger point therapy and remedial massage. Her treatments, therefore, include everything from gentle relaxation to deep tissue, or sports massage.
Leanne has worked with the Western Sydney Wanderers, providing massage to the players during the soccer season. She adores spending time with her three children.
Remedial Massage Therapist
Yukari completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy at TAFE NSW in 2016 and is a wonderful addition to our team, she is caring and kind natured. Yukari takes a holistic approach, utilising a traditional massage technique, her technique is relaxing, yet can be firm.

Rachel completed her diploma of Remedial Massage at the Institute of Fitness in 2016. Rachel is passionate about helping people feel better through remedial massage. She also has an interest in Chinese Cupping. Rachel likes to keep fit through CrossFit in her spare time and spend time with her daughter.
Nicholas has many years of business experience and is in charge of co-ordinating and managing the smooth running of Macarthur Natural Health Clinic.
Nicholas has a passion for helping people and ensuring that patients achieve the best possible results through treatment plans. Thus, he can recommend treatment alternatives or simply answer any concerns clients may express about health options.
Eleanor is the smiling, first point of contact for Macarthur Natural Health Clinic. An experienced receptionist, she loves to help people, and very much enjoys working alongside allied health practitioners on the team to create positive experiences for our clients.
Eleanor loves to work alongside the Chiropractors and Massage Therapists in assisting their needs, to help our clients achieve the best results, and make them feel comfortable.
Rachel has worked helpfully alongside our Chiropractors and Massage Therapists for Macarthur Natural Health Clinic since 2012. She is studying for a Bachelor of Science, desiring a career in Biochemistry or Forensics.
Rachel also has a Diploma in Beauty Therapy, including experience in Swedish and Remedial Massage. She assists with soft tissue preparation of patients, prior to Chiropractic Treatments.
